Ashly Harter, a junior criminal justice student from Watkins Memorial High School, ran for and won the SkillsUSA Ohio Southeast Regional Presidency election during the annual SkillsUSA Fall Regional Leadership Conference that was held in Columbus earlier this month. She and adviser Tina Hummel will be traveling to Washington, D.C. for the Regional Officer's Leadership Training from January 15-20, 2012.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel. SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations.
