Four members of Chapter 840 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart presented a special 9/11 flag to C-TEC on Veteran's Day last Friday. The flag lists the names of all 2,740 Americans who were killed on 9/11. They also presented a plaque explaining the special flag with the phrase, "lest we never forget." Mary Kay Andrews, director of the secondary center, along with two students, Sheldon Faller, firefighting and EMT senior from Utica High School, and Cody Conkle, welding senior from Licking Valley High School, represented C-TEC in accepting the flag. The flag and plaque will be displayed over the library in the high school.
