Giant Eagle, Kroger and GFS Marketplace supporting C-TEC student incentive program PDF Print E-mail

Newark, OH—C-TEC is receiving the help of Giant Eagle, Kroger and GFS Marketplace in support of their student incentive programs. All three will donate portions of their sales to the school district. Patrons should download the flyers located at the bottom of this press release to learn more about each program.

These partnerships are helping to support the new PAX-it student incentive program at the school. PAX-it notes are praise notes given to reward students who do good things that make the world a better place. "PAX" is a Latin word meaning "peace." PAX-it notes are part of the Our Futures in Licking County initiative.

C-TEC has begun incorporating PAX-it into the weekly, monthly, and yearly incentive program already in place in the high school.

"We are looking to show our appreciation and to support five students each week who have displayed the types of behaviors that, in the long run, will make our world a better place," said Rodney Fields, C-TEC's Dean of Students.
